Teen Wolf Producer To Remake Let The Right One In For A&E

A&E is committing to the horror genre.

After finding success with Bates Motel and The Returned, A&E is adding a remake of John Ajvide Lindqvist’s Let The Right One In to its development slate. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Teen Wolf executive producer/showrunner Jeff Davis and Brandon Boyce are tackling the remake for A&E.

Let The Right One In was previously adapted as a Swedish film in 2008 before the novel was remade again for America as Let Me In (pictured above) in 2010. The story follows a young boy who befriends an enigmatic girl who is secretly a vampire attempting to escape detection.

The report notes that A&E and Showtime were in a bidding war for the Let The Right One In TV rights before A&E ultimately came out on top.

Before developing Teen Wolf for MTV, Davis was a writer on Criminal Minds for CBS. Boyce has appeared as an actor on Teen Wolf and has written the screenplays for Apt Pupil and Wicker Park.

Should A&E keep the original name of Let The Right One In for the TV series? Who would you cast in the show? Let us know in the comment section below!
