It’s been almost a year since id Software released the second-coming of the Wolfenstein series, and on March 4, The New Order developers revealed what they have been working on this whole time. Wolfenstein: The Old Blood will arrive May 5, adding eight new chapters across two stories.
This story expansion will be digitally available for $19.99 of PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Noticeably left off the list are Xbox 360 and PS3, two systems for which Wolfenstein: The New Order was available. This is the latest in a long line of 2015 titles that decidedly snubbed the old systems.
According to the video information, you will once again play as BJ Blazkowicz, who attempts to break into Castle Wolfenstein to steal valuable intel all for the express purpose of thwarting Nazis, of course.

Live gameplay of the Wolfenstein: The Old Blood will be revealed at PAX East on Friday, March 6 and Saturday, March 7. Streams of the gameplay will start on Twitch at 7:30 a.m. Pacific time both days.
While this has all the look and feel of DLC, it’s technically a standalone game. Even if it was just DLC, Wolfenstein: The Old Blood is a reasonably priced story expansion, which puts it in a far friendlier category of DLC.
