Ladies and gentlemen, we’re about to break the first two rules of Fight Club.
Author Chuck Palahniuk has written the sequel to his classic 1996 novel, Fight Club and it’s coming out this year as a comic book drawn by artist Cameron Stewart.
The vast majority of Fight Club fans probably know the story from the 1999 film adaptation by David Fincher that featured Brad Pitt, Edward Norton and Helena Bonham Carter and went on to become a cult favorite. For Fight Club 2, all you really need to know is that the unnamed narrator is now calling himself Sebastian and he’s married to Marla Singer. They have a son and a relatively normal existence ten years after Project Mayhem.
And they’re both incredibly unhappy.
Unfortunately for Sebastian, Marla is messing with his meds to bring back his alternate personality Tyler Durden. This time, Sebastian won’t be able to run from his destiny…
Playboy.com has debuted the first six pages of Dark Horse Comics’ Fight Club 2, but you can read the entire preview here and catch the covers by Lee Bermejo and Cameron Stewart.
Fight Club 2 will be released on May 27 in comic stores everywhere.
