Wild Card: Exclusive New Jason Statham Clip

It’s always fun to see Jason Statham kick ass. He does a lot of that in the new action drama Wild Card, but you’ll get to see him do more than that. You’ll also get to see him act opposite a fantastic ensemble cast in a film with a sharp and pulpy screenplay from Oscar-winning writer William Goldman (All the President’s MenThe Princess Bride.)

In this exclusive clip, Jason Statham meets with Millicent (Davenia McFadden, Smokin’ Aces) to find out more about the men who savagely assaulted his ex-girlfriend Holly (Dominik Garcia-Lorido, “Magic City”). It turns out that these are some bad dudes. Bad dudes indeed. But not so bad that time can’t be made to appreciate the finer things in life, like pickles. Enjoy!

From the Press Release:

Nick Wild (Jason Statham) is a Las Vegas bodyguard with lethal professional skills and a personal gambling problem. When a friend is beaten by a sadistic thug, Nick strikes back, only to find out the thug is the son of a powerful mob boss.  Suddenly Nick is plunged into the criminal underworld, chased by enforcers and wanted by the mob.  Having raised the stakes, Nick has one last play to change his fortunes…and this time, it’s all or nothing. From two-time Academy® Award winning writer William Goldman (Best Original Screenplay, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, 1969; Best Adapted Screenplay, All the President’s Men, 1976).

Wild Card stars Jason Statham, Dominik Garcia-Lorido, Milo Ventimiglia, Michael Angarano, Jason Alexander, Hope Davis and Stanley Tucci. Check it out in theaters everywhere and on VOD this Friday, January 30, 2015.
