Here’s Cristiano Ronaldo, world-famous Portuguese footballer (soccer player, for you Americans out there), with his son Cristiano Ronaldo, Jr.
From the picture, you’d think that his son models every single aspect of his life after his father, but that’s not entirely true. It’s been revealed that Jr. is quite the fan of Argentinian superstar Lionel Messi. At the recent 2014 FIFA Ballon d’Or Gala (where Ronaldo received top honors), the little guy spotted his idol and ran up to him, but quickly turned shy. Messi and the young boy shared some words, likely either inspiring Ronaldo, Sr. or pissing him off internally. Seeing his son idolize another footballer could really bring some mixed feelings up. Needless to say, I am not even sure how I would handle a situation like that, especially if I was just the highlight of the FIFA Ballon d’Or Gala.
