Well, some further developments have surfaced. The NBA has taken disciplinary action against Kevin Garnett and Dwight Howard, with the former of the two receiving a one-game suspension, and the latter player receiving a $15,000 dollar fine.
The NBA acknowledged that Garnett did initiate the altercation, but made a point of saying that Howard indeed responded in kind with a swing to the neck, therefore necessitating the response by the NBA against both players.
