Previously thought to be coming to theaters after 2016 because of a crowded release calendar, Channing Tatum’s Gambit X-Men film is slated to indeed arrive in 2016, on October 7th to be specific, according to The Wrap.
With the success of 22 Jump Street still pumping through Tatum’s veins, his image and star power are likely what Fox needs to keep milking the cash cow that is X-Men, what with Hugh Jackman wrestling with whether to continue as Wolverine or not.
