We’ve been through several revisions of the Steam controller design. It should come as no surprise then that we have, pictured above, the latest one.
Take a second to look over the new design, and you’ll notice that there’s a rather prominent new D-Pad or some semblance of one, even it is nothing more than negative space etched into the pre-existing touch pad on the left side. Those who play fighting games will surely appreciate this move by Valve. The previous controller designs left a little to be desired, but it seems there’s been an attempt to address some concerns brought forward by the Steam community.
