The main Fables ongoing series is nearing its end in 2015, but the digital comic adaptation of Telltale Games’ Fables: The Wolf Among Us is just getting started.
Writers Dave Justus and Matthew Sturges and artist Shawn McManus are bringing The Wolf Among Us to comics as the story shifts to 1986, when Sheriff Bigby Wolf was still working for Ichabod Crane in Fabletown.
In our exclusive preview from Fables: The Wolf Among Us Chapter # 2, Bigby finds himself in an unexpectedly vicious fight with his old nemesis, The Woodsman. But it’s the enigmatic Fable known as Faith who may hold the solution for Bigby, even if he has no idea what he’s in for in the near future…
Fables: The Wolf Among Us Chapter # 2 will be released on Wednesday, December 17 on the DC Comics App, Readdcentertainment.com, comiXology, Google Play, Kindle Store, Nook Store, iBooks, and iVerse ComicsPLUS.
If you want a little more from The Wolf Among Us, check out the video below for “A Dog’s Life,” an original song by Miracle Of Sound aka Gavin Dunne. “A Dog’s Life” was inspired by the Wolf Among Us video game and it is fan produced. For the record, DC Entertainment, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Telltale Games had nothing to do with “A Dog’s Life.”
But “A Dog’s Life” still does a great job of capturing the feel of The Wolf Among Us. For more Miracle of Sound songs, check out his Bandcamp page or his Youtube channel!
