Lakers guard Kobe Bryant has made quite a stir over the last 24 hours after video released from Thursday morning’s team practice showed him shouting multiple expletives at teammates, at one point calling them “soft like Charmin.”
Let’s make one thing clear. This was nothing more than routine trash talk, something that happens more than you could ever imagine in not just practices, but during actual games in front of thousands of people. We normally simply don’t have the pleasure to have the mics and cameras around to pick it all up.
In fact, if you watched the entire video, you saw Kobe smiling after the practice saying he had fun.
Settle down, internet. Many Lakers haters have plenty of reasons to dislike Kobe; this isn’t one of them.
