Seeking some last minute holiday deals on video games? Look no further than a place you probably haven’t shopped since 1996 — Kmart.
NeoGAF user nrvalleytime points out that an impressive range of 3DS games are available for $20, or in some cases even less. Given that many major 3DS titles retail for $40, and Nintendo isn’t exactly known for lowering their MSRPs, this is a pretty fantastic opportunity.
You can check out a sampling of what’s available below.
Mario Party Island Tour $14.99
Lego City Undercover: The Chase Begins $9.99
Tomodachi Life $19.99
Mario Golf: World Tour $14.99
Bravely Default $19.99
Yoshi’s New Island $19.99
Pokemon X $14.99
Pokemon Y $14.99
The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds $19.99
Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon $19.99
Kirby: Tripe Deluxe $19.99
Mario & Luigi: Dream Team $19.99
Disney Magical World $9.99
Meanwhile, Wii U deals are less vast, but also worthwhile. Donkey Kong: Tropical Freeze, Pikmin 3, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD, and Lego City Undercover are all $30, while New Super Luigi U is $15 and Super Mario 3D World is $45.
Most shoppers are probably still in a post-Black Friday coma right about now, which is all the more reason to jump at these deals while they last. Think of it this way; the 2DS can be had for less than $100, as can a refurbished standard 3DS. Combine that with these incredibly cheap games, and suddenly you’ve got months worth of top-notch handheld experiences to wade through.
If that’s not embracing the holiday spirit, then I don’t know what is.
