DC Comics Announces Second Round of Convergence Miniseries

Earlier this month, DC Comics unveiled the first ten miniseries from its upcoming Convergence event, which will replace The New 52 for two months while DC moves from New York to Burbank.

The initial round of  Convergence miniseries seemed to focus on the modern era of DC’s heroes if Flashpoint hadn’t created The New 52 timeline. The second round of two issue miniseries announced today at Hitfix and Blastr will apparently revisit the DC characters as they were in the early ‘90s. That means we’ve got the Jim Balent Catwoman back, the “bwahahaha” Justice League, Azrael as Batman and a one-handed Aquaman.

More intriguingly, the miniseries will apparently be pitting the DC heroes against the Wildstorm heroes from Jim Lee’s former publishing line. Although the Kingdom Come superheroes will be making an appearance in the Justice League mini. And it looks like Supergirl will be going up against some of the survivors of the original Crisis.

Here are the issue descriptions as released by DC.
