The folks over at Marvel had a very special announcement for fans of its space-traveling Guardians of the Galaxy franchise, revealing during its panel today at New York Comic Con that the previously-announced animated series set in the aforementioned star-bound universe is currently in production and is set to debut next year.
Additionally, Marvel showcased a brief “test animation” clip to those in attendance, which featured Rocket Raccoon and a very Chris Pratt-looking Star-Lord. Here’s a look at the key art for the series, courtesy of Entertainment Weekly.
