Jack of all trades David Hayter is back, and he’s bringing something hairy with him. You know David Hayter as the voice of Solid Snake in the popular Metal Gear Solid video games. You may also know him as the writer of X-Men, X2: X-Men United and Watchmen. And this month you’ll see just how well he can direct in the new werewolf movie Wolves. What’s next, David Hayter? Basket weaving?
There aren’t nearly enough werewolf movies for our tastes (and in the entire history of cinema, only a handful of great ones), so CraveOnline is especially looking forward to Wolves and hoping it’s as good as this exclusive image gallery makes it look. Oh yes, did we mention we have an exclusive image gallery feature the lycanthropes from Wolves? The makeup in this movie looks pretty great. Let’s hope the movie is great enough to match.
The press release describes Wolves as follows:
“Popular high school student Cayden Richards wakes from a horrific nightmare, only to realize that he’s living it… He is changing into something vicious, unpredictable and wild. Forced to hit the road after the brutal murder of his parents, Cayden tries to hunt down the truth of what he is. In the remote, mountain town of Lupine Ridge, he discovers others like him — Including the beautiful Angelina, a young woman caught between two ancient clans of “wolves”. And when he finally discovers the shocking truth behind his ancestry, Cayden realizes there is only one way to save the woman he loves… a grisly fight to the death against forces more savage than he could have ever imagined.”
Wolves arrives on VOD on October 16, and in select theaters on November 14, 2014.
