Samsung has unveiled the SD590C, a 27-inch curved PC monitor that has left us drooling.
The 1080p monitor joins the ranks of Samsung’s oft-discussed curved TVs, with the company making a strong push to bring its curved devices into the homes of consumers. The monitor boasts a curvature of 4000R, giving it a much wider field of view than flat-screened monitors.

According to Samsung, its engineers “conducted extensive research on the human eye to determine the optimal monitor curve radius.” The end result is a beautiful screen which aims to be as easy on the eye as possible.
The monitor has a response time of 4ms, 350-nit max brightness, and a 3000:1 contrast ratio. it will retail $429.99, which is certainly pricier than other 27-inch monitors sold by rival companies, but they don’t feature “the curve,” so we’re far more interested in splashing the cash on Samsung’s latest invention.
