Effectively the first Steam Machine (a.k.a. Steam Box) to hit the market, Alienware Alpha has gotten a lot of attention at PAX Prime. Not only is it arguably the most stylish of the family of PC-born consoles that will hit the market during the next year, it comes from a brand name manufacturer that knows its hardware inside and out.
Checking out the Alienware Alpha and what it has to offer, we quickly learned that it packs tremendous value. This isn’t a new console launch, it’s an extension of the PC to the living room. That means you’ll have decades of games to play the moment it’s available this Holiday season. There will be no waiting a few years for things to get rolling like we’ve seen from consoles.
