Imagine what you were like when you were 15-years-old. In my case, I was about 5-foot-11, 150 pounds and was primarily focused on my playstation and chasing cheerleaders. Mike Tyson, on the other hand, was a full-blown man-child honed in on brutally attacking any breathing thing that stood in a ring.
Check out this GIF that started going viral online this week. Reddit users who posted the GIF claim it’s a 15-year-old Mike Tyson from 1981. But is it real?
After doing a little bit of research online, it appears the GIF is in fact, frighteningly, real.
It wasn’t hard to pull up the video in which the GIF came from, which claims to be of the fighter from the same year.

Then there’s this gem, a video showing Tyson knocking out a 23-year-old man when he was just old enough to be a Junior in High School.
For those who are too young to remember Tyson’s dominance of the sport, this is a shocking reminder as to how terrifying this man was inside the ring. There is a reason he’s considered one of the greatest of all-time.
