The new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie will reintroduce audiences to the main characters – Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo, Raphael, Splinter, The Shredder and April O’Neil – but the world of this franchise is big and sprawling. There’s plenty of room to tease other characters for the sequels. And Megan Fox, who plays intrepid reporter April O’Neil, just spilled the beans about a really cool Easter Egg in an interview at CraveOnline’s sister publication Coming Soon. It’s going to have fans buzzing!
“I don’t know if I’m allowed to tell you this,” Megan Fox says. “But Baxter Stockman is in the movie. You just have to really look for him, but he’s there.”

As Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles villains go, Baxter Stockman is one of the most popular and enduring creations in the franchise. Although we didn’t catch the cameo when we reviewed the film, we do hope this means that sequels to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles – provided the new film does well enough to warrant them – will start mining other stories in the franchise for fun characters who have never appeared in live-action (or at least motion-capture) form.
