The numbers have come in, and it seems the lesser-known Guardians of the Galaxy franchise is a hit with moviegoers.
Besting this year’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier by at least 1 million dollars, and earning the title of “Highest-grossing Thursday night opener so far in 2014”, the film is on track to have a big opening weekend.
