“He’s going to break some shit,” the Soska Sisters promise. The two filmmakers – Jen and Sylvia – are talking about See No Evil 2, the horror sequel from WWE Studios they’re here to promote at Comic-Con 2014. But they’re also here to talk about their exciting new project, the feature film adaptation of the comic book series Painkiller Jane, which was previously adapted as a TV movie and one-season series.
Oh sure, they’ll also talk about their competitive crushes on The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels, but in this CraveOnline Exclusive video they spend more time explaining their take on the popular female superhero, and why their adaptation will focus on being “exactly like the comic book,” in keeping with Joss Whedon’s take on The Avengers.

“There’s also a scene where Jane’s not wearing anything but bullets flying all around her, so no punches are going to be pulled in this movie,” say The Soska Sisters, before adding, “Bitches look good in bullets.”
But the biggest news comes in their description of Painkiller Jane‘s villain, jokingly referred to as “The Wolverine Terminator,” but more specifically identified as closely related to Painkiller Jane’s origin story: “The one who creates her is her nemesis, but oh my God she lets him have it.”
But is Painkiller Jane just the beginning? “Without spoilers I think we’re going to go and do a lot with that franchise,” they add before pointing out, “How long has it been since we’ve had a kick-ass female?”
Too long, Jen and Sylvia Soska. But you may be the filmmakers to introduce us to a new one.
