In recent sports news, a college friend of the suspected bomber was convicted of obstruction in continuing investigations into the now infamous marathon bombing.
This is the first trial coming out of the investigations into the bombing that killed three and injured nearly three hundred near the finish line of the Boston Marathon. The suspect’s mother was weeping as jury verdicts were announced after three days of deliberations.
