Last season on “Arrow,” the flashback sequences of Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) found the future Arrow transported to Hong Kong by the Agents of A.R.G.U.S. under the command of Amanda Waller (Cynthia Addai-Robinson). And Oliver won’t be the only superhero appearing in Hong Kong next season.
Deadline is reporting that Devon Aoki has been cast as Tatsu Yamashiro in the third season of “Arrow.” Tatsu is better known to DC Comic fans as the martial arts expert known as Katana, who was created by Mike W. Barr and Jim Aparo in 1983 before her character joined The Outsiders. Katana was recently featured in the New 52 reboot of Birds of Prey, the animated “Beware The Batman” and her own series from DC Comics.

On “Arrow,” Aoki will be a recurring guest star as Tatsu serves as one of Oliver’s mentors during this season’s flashback sequences.
Prior to “Arrow,” Aoki appeared in 2 Fast 2 Furious, Dead or Alive, Mutant Chronicles, D.E.B.S. and Sin City.
“Arrow” Season 3 will premiere on Wednesday, October 8.
