In just a short time, the United States faces off against Belgium in the match that will either crush or renew the their hopes at a World Cup Championship.
So far, the United States has brought to the table quite the mediocre record (1-1-1), whilst Belgium has been doing very well for itself (3-0-0), outscoring the US quite handily up until today. Jurgen Klinsmann also stated that he is “worried about the Algerian referee” Djamel Haimoudi (pictured above) assigned to the upcoming game, due to communication issues and the ref’s familiarity with the Belgian team, as well as the fact that he’s from a nation that the US knocked out in 2010’s World Cup. Jurgen was reassured from various angles that he needn’t worry.
