“Star Trek: The Next Generation” was the most influential sci-fi TV series of its era and one of the main reasons that the Star Trek franchise is still going today. It was also a show that was infamous for its techno-babble, which couldn’t have been easy for the cast to deal with on a regular basis.
Next week, Star Trek: The Next Generation: The Sixth Season hits Blu-Ray. And in this exclusive clip from the gag reel, Patrick Stewart, LeVar Burton and Whoopi Goldberg trip over some of their convoluted lines. Stewart and Goldberg even drop a few swear words, but their language has been edited in these clips so they are work safe.
Also included on the Blu-ray set are all 26 episodes and a three part documentary about the sixth season. Three of the episodes include audio commentary and there are also deleted scenes scattered throughout the set.
Star Trek: The Next Generation: The Sixth Season Blu-ray beams into stores on Tuesday, June 24 alongside a special Blu-ray release of the two part “Star Trek: The Next Generation” episode, “Chain of Command,” which has been edited into a feature length adventure.
