Andrew Heaney SP - Miami
46% owned
Heaney makes his MLB debut Thursday against the Mets with much fanfare. The kid has sparkling numbers coming up from Triple-A: 2.47 ERA, 1.096 WHIP, and 79/15 K/BB ratio in 76 2/3 innings in the minors. He's been touted as one of the best prospects in the game, now we get to see if he'll live up the hype. Whether he dominates or not, expect some regression and an innings-cap. The potential alone here makes him a must-own.

Brock Holt 3B, 1B, OF - Boston
40% owned
I wasn't a believer at first but Brock has undoubtedly proved me wrong. Over the past 30 days he's ranked No. 60 on the player rater with .344/1/11 line. Sure, he won't get you much pop (only 7 home runs cominbed over the last three years) but he hits for a terrific average at a position that is scarce.

Danny Santana SS, 2B, OF - Minnesota
50% owned
Santana over the past two weeks: .322/2/12 with 4 stolen bases and a #17 rank on the player rater. Let's just say he's busted into The Show with a lot of noise. He's another guy with not much power, but with great potential to be an average/speed guy. Over the past two seasons in the minors he's averaged close to .300 and more than 20 steals.

Jake Arrieta SP - Chicago

The Orioles were patient with their draft pick for five years before finally trading him to the Cubs last season. After putting up respectable numbers for the Cubs' Triple-A team last year, Arrieta has now been utterly dominant in his last three starts, averaging 9 Ks and less than one earned run. In 50 innings this year he has a 55/15 K/BB ratio and a 1.98 ERA. Not sure what he's changed with his delivery or repertoire, but it's working. Hey, some of us are just late bloomers.

Jon Singleton 1B - Houston
49% owned
He's only 22-years-old, but the guy is already a known masher, knocking in 14 home runs in only 54 games at Triple-A before being promoted to the Astros a couple weeks ago. He strikes out a lot and will bat a little below the league average, but if you need some power depth to your lineup, Singleton has a high ceiling in a hitter-friendly park.

Kyle Gibson SP - Minnesota
9% owned
After a brief 2013 audtion in The Show in which he struggled, Gibson seems to have figured things out. He's not only ranked No. 65 on the player rater over the past month, but four of his last five starts have been quality shut-outs. Don't expect many Ks with Gibson, but in a deep league he should be owned for his low WHIP and ERA, especially at home where hitters are only batting .213 against him.
