On The CW’s “Arrow,” Oliver Queen aka the Arrow (Stephen Amell) has a small group of partners that the fans call Team Arrow. This fall, The Flash will have a team of his own.
The CW has released a new video preview of “The Flash” that takes a look at three of the main supporting players. Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes) and Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker) have already appeared on “Arrow” and both characters are based on DC characters. In the comics, Cisco is the superhero known as Vibe and Caitlin is Killer Frost, a super villainess.
In “The Flash,” both Cisco and Caitlin will help Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) achieve his heroic potential as The Flash under the guidance of Dr. Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh), a new character created for the series. It was Harrison who created the Particle Accelerator at S.T.A.R. Labs that blew up and gave Barry his powers. Now that S.T.A.R. Labs has been disgraced by the accident, Harrison, Cisco and Caitlin will find their redemption through Barry’s new alter ego.
“The Flash” pilot was written by Geoff Johns, Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg with David Nutter as the director. The pilot episode is likely to premiere at Comic-Con International next month before “The Flash” premieres on The CW this Fall.
