Twitch’s plan for E3 this year is giving me strong desires. Desires I’ve never had before. Yes, I’m talking about the desire to pull some kid off the street and reminisce about MY childhood experience keeping up with the hottest news out of E3, most likely beginning with the phrase “back in my day.” Because back in my day, E3 coverage wasn’t this awesome.
You’ve probably guessed that I’m referring to Twitch, the “official live streaming partner of E3,” and its intent to broadcast each and every press conference, reveal, and interesting factoid straight from the show floor. The company has revealed its in-depth schedule for covering the show, including slots for unannounced titles from Microsoft, Nintendo, Ubisoft, and more. Those are the ones you’ll want to put a little star next to.
The schedule can be seen below, and the action can be found at twitch.tv/E3. Twitch says much of its coverage will be hosted from its own booth by the likes of Marcus Graham, Jon Carnage, and Seltzer FD, among others. Sir Carnage himself (content director at Twitch) says that this will be his company’s “most robust E3 presence to date,” and from the looks of things, I’m inclined to believe him.
With that, I suggest you check out the schedule — or just copy and paste it onto your real life calendar. That’s probably the quickest solution.
