Grant Gustin Confirms That ‘The Flash’ & ‘Arrow’ Will Crossover

In the extended trailer for “The Flash” pilot, Stephen Amell made a brief cameo as Oliver Queen aka The Arrow. Grant Gustin made his debut as Barry Allen on two episodes of “Arrow,” which is why Oliver Queen will appear in the first episode of “The Flash.” But that won’t be the last time that they see each other.

During an interview with IGN, Gustin confirmed that the characters of “Arrow” and “The Flash” will cross paths during the next television season.

“I don’t know which characters, but there are going to be crossovers for sure between the two shows,” said Gustin. “ I don’t know who it’s going to be, but yes, that’s gonna happen.”

Near the end of “Arrow” Season 2, Carlos Valdes and Danielle Panabaker made guest appearances as Cisco Ramon and Caitlin Snow, their respective characters from “The Flash.” Given the attraction between Felicity Smoak and Barry during his time on “Arrow,” it seems likely that Emily Bett Rickards will eventually guest star on “The Flash.”

But in the meantime, fans will just have to enjoy the playful teaser trailer in which The Flash messes with The Arrow’s target practice.

“The Flash” will premiere this fall on The CW.
