Earlier today, FX announced that Marilyn Manson had joined the seventh season of “Sons of Anarchy.” But as FX’s signature drama winds down, Manson won’t be the only new face on the show’s final season.
TVLine is reporting that Annabeth Gish has been signed to play Althea Jarry, the new Sheriff of Charming in “Sons of Anarchy” Season 7. In the sixth season finale, Jarry’s predecessor, Sheriff Eli Roosevelt was murdered shortly after discovering that Tara Knowles had been killed by Gemma (Katey Sagal).
Naturally, Sheriff Jarry will be investigating those murders, but the report indicates that she isn’t above working with SAMCRO to keep the peace in Charming.
Gish’s new gig on “Sons of Anarchy” isn’t expected to interfere with her co-starring role on FX’s “The Bridge,” which is returning for a second season this summer. Gish has previously been known for her roles in “The X-Files,” “The West Wing” and “Brotherhood” in addition to her feature film appearances in The Last Supper, Mystic Pizza and Double Jeopardy.
“Sons of Anarchy” Season 7 will premiere this fall on FX.
