Picking foul balls out of the air at a major league baseball game is one thing — but snatching a hurtling bat as it sizzles by? That's pretty impressive.
And this lady behind the third-base dugout at U.S. Cellular Field for Monday's White Sox-Cleveland Indians matchup should get some extra kudos for her amazing grab.
Not only did she save fans behind her from the screaming lumber, but she subdued the bat fired out of the hands of Sox catcher Tyler Flowers — with one hand!
No word on whether or not Flowers got his favorite stick back, according to Crave sports site NESN, Unfortunately, the wayward swing was just part of a bad day for Flowers, who was ejected from the game in the 4th inning for arguing balls and strikes with umpire Ron Kulpa. It was the first ejection of Flowers' major league career.
