WWE and Nancy Grace Feud Continues: DDP Calls Her a “B****”

Diamond Dallas Page has spoken out about his now-infamous interview with Nancy Grace, in which the TV host fired a whole host of inaccuracies at DDP. The interview included a scrolling graphic of wrestlers that had passed away at a young age, with Nancy Grace suggesting that they all likely died from drug use, even though Owen Hart’s name appeared on there.

The interview, which was set up after the untimely death of Ultimate Wariror, enraged wrestling fans worldwide after Nancy Grace continued to push her believe that Ultimate Warrior simply must have died from steroid abuse on her report. DDP rightly defended the WWE’s current wellness program, but Nancy Grace refused to listen to common sense and instead went with continuing to go the easy route by lobbing further accusations in the WWE’s direction.

DDP recently appeared on The Undisputed Wrestling Show to offer his thoughts on the interview, and needless to say he didn’t have kind words for Miss Grace.

Here’s an excerpt from the interview in which he discusses how he was “stood up” by Grace, as transcribed by WrestleZone.com: “First of all, I wanted to leave. Oh my god, this woman was so nice to me when I walked in there. Once she started hitting me with that deal, I got scared. I go ‘Oh my god, she set me up, so should I get up and walk away? How is that going to make the business look?’ I breathed, I focused on breathing.

“The only thing I could think of at that time was that WWE has the best wellness program, better than the NBA, NFL, MLB, so I think that is fighting for the company. I thought about firing back at her (Nancy Grace), but it was a really weird situation. I can’t put that b**** over. I can’t talk about her anymore, I want to strangle her. The last thing I want to be is in that position. The way it was told to me is that I saw four questions. I said ‘I don’t know about this’ and Nancy Grace said ‘No, it’s gonna be a feel good piece.’ When I walked in there, she was so sweet to me. She totally set me up.”

When asked about the scrolling graphic that showed the list of dead wrestlers’ names, he said: “I never saw that! That totally blindsided me. I will never do that b****’s show again, I can guarantee you that!”
