DC Announces a Month of Batman 75th Anniversary Variant Covers

75  years ago, Bill Finger and Bob Kane created Batman, one of the most influential comic book superheroes of all time. Many creators have left their mark on the Dark Knight Detective, and Batman has become one of the most iconic characters in pop culture.

This July, DC is celebrating the 75th Anniversary of Batman with a number of variant covers by comic book industry superstar artists including Kevin Nowlan, Klaus Janson, Jim Steranko, Walt Simonson, Graham Nolan, Cliff Chiang, Sean Murphy, Dave Johnson, Dan Jurgens and Mike Kaluta.

To kick things off, DC unveiled Steranko’s cover, and it’s pretty amazing.

Only 21 of DC’s monthly comics will receive a Batman themed anniversary variant; which means that 11 artists have yet to be announced for the covers.
