Sure, nobody has a Wii U, but that doesn’t dampen the enthusiasm for the new platform exclusive Mario Kart 8, does it?
Nintendo just dropped a trailer for the new game — and even if you’re not a Mario race fan, you’ve got to admit, it looks pretty incredible.
All kinds of cool new features are on display in this trailer (posted over on Crave’s gaming site Game Revolution), including the much-anticipated anti-gravity development. The video also takes the cover off some of the new weapons your racer can use to knock out or disable your opponents (and seriously, how can you not like a piranha plant?).
If you’re interested — and have a Wii U (which is probably the much smaller group of the two) — you can check out Mario Kart 8 when the game drops in North America May 30.
