If there was one guy who should have seen his own death coming, it’s Uatu, The Watcher.
Seriously, how do you even plan to kill this guy? He sees everything. And I mean EVERYTHING! You know that thing you did in the bathroom? He saw that too.
Yet the one who watches is the first victim in Marvel’s upcoming event miniseries, Original Sin. Coming on May 7th from the creative team of Jason Aaron (Wolverine and the X-Men) and Mike Deodato (New Avengers), Original Sin follows the heroes of Earth as they race to solve the Watcher’s murder. In the wake of Uatu’s death, all of the Marvel Universe’s dirtiest secrets are about to come out in the open. Because when it comes to Original Sin, everyone has one.
Marvel has released the first few pages of Original Sin, which includes (possibly) the Watcher’s last moments, original Nick Fury and the Avengers investigating the murder scene and the new favorite buddy cop pairing of The Punisher and Doctor Strange!
And I’m totally on board for a Strange/Punisher team up book. Bring it on, Marvel!
