After several months of captivity and hardship, Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) returned to King’s Landing last season on “Game of Thrones.” Whether Jaime is truly a changed man remains to be seen, but he can’t live up to the terms of his agreement with Brienne (Gwendoline Christie). Arya (Maisie Williams) escaped the Lannisters a long time ago and Sansa (Sophie Turner) has already been married off to Tyrion (Peter Dinklage)!
But when “Game of Thrones” returns to HBO in just over two weeks, the Lannisters won’t have much time to celebrate their apparent triumph. Despite the boastful statements of King Joffrey (Jack Gleeson), the war is far from over. The White Walkers are coming, and even the Wilding army is threatening to overrun the Night’s Watch in the North. Winter isn’t coming, it’s here.
During the New York premiere of “Game of Thrones” Season 4, HBO released a new trailer on its Facebook page featuring the song “Devil Inside” by London Grammar. The trailer also drops a few hints about Brienne’s new mission and Prince Oberyn “The Red Viper” Martell’s dark plans for the Lannisters!
