During the third season of “Homeland,” Nazanin Boniadi made her debut as Fara Sherazi, a new CIA analyst who was also a practicing Muslim. While Boniadi was only appearing on a recurring basis last season, she will have a much larger role going forward.
Deadline is reporting that Boniadi has been promoted to series regular in “Homeland” Season 4 as she continues to work alongside Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes).
Boniadi is currently appearing in “Scandal’ for a multi-episode arc. She has previously guest starred in “How I Met Your Mother, “Grey’s Anatomy,” “24,” “CSI” and “General Hospital.”
“Homeland’ Season 4 will premiere this fall on Showtime.
