Even if you have been keeping up with all things cool and comedic at the Winter Olympics in Sochi through Crave's Olympics page, you may still have missed the report from Crave's NESN about how hard it is to be a mascot in Russia these days.
First, Bely had so much trouble getting into a car to visit places around the Olympic grounds that they finally had to pack the bear in the back … laying down.
But the 3-1 loss the Russian hockey team suffered to Finland in the quarterfinal Wednesday may have put poor Bely the bear over the top. The good news is the person in the bear suit never had to show their face.
