“The Simpsons” are still trying to do new things, even after 25 years on the air.
According to a report Monday on Crave’s /Film, the first family of animation is going to go all blocky on May 4 — their 550th episode. The entire episode will be done in LEGO (not sure whether that means actually LEGO in stop-motion or animated LEGO like The LEGO Movie).
The episode is entitled “Brick Like Me” and has Homer trying to figure out why everything is in LEGO and how to return things to “normal.” The building blocks of another 550 episodes, no doubt.
