In just under two months, “Game of Thrones” returns to HBO for another season as George R.R. Martin’s fantasy epic adapts the final parts of A Storm of Swords, the third novel in Martin’s “A Song of Ice and Fire” series.
HBO has released a new “Game of Thrones” Season 4 preview special entitled “A Foreshadowing,” in which showrunners David Benioff and D. B. Weiss share their thoughts on the upcoming season alongside cast members Peter Dinklage, Emilia Clarke, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Kit Harington, Lena Headey, Charles Dance, Jack Gleeson, John Bradley, Gwendoline Christie, Natalie Dormer, Maisie Williams, Rory McCann and more!
There are some minor spoilers ahead, including a glimpse of Tyrion’s troubles, the continuing aftermath of the Red Wedding, unrest in Daenerys’ new empire and Joffrey’s royal wedding to Margaery.
The cast members also answer questions from the fans, including who had the saddest death on the show, which characters are their favorites, the best quotes and whether Joffrey has any redeeming qualities.
