“Sleepy Hollow” closed out its first season with a major revelation about John Noble’s Henry Parrish and ended with cliffhangers for every main character. But there’s at least one character whose chances of survival just went up dramatically.
Deadline is reporting that John Noble and Lyndie Greenwood will be series regulars in “Sleepy Hollow” Season 2. Greenwood was previously recurring as Jenny, the sister of Abbie Mills (Nicole Beharie) while Noble made a handful of guest appearances as the Death Eater, Henry Parrish who had a strong connection to Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison).
This has to be good news for fans of Jenny, since her fate was up in the air while Greenwood was only appearing on a recurring basis. Noble’s continued presence on “Sleepy Hollow” will also give that series a strong and compelling villain for the second season.
Noble is best known for playing Walter Bishop on “Fringe” and Denethor in the Lord of the Rings trilogy. He has also appeared in “24” and “The Good Wife.” Greenwood had previously had a recurring role on “Nikita” in addition to her guest stints on “Saving Hope,” “Covert Affairs,” “Flashpoint” and “Rookie Blue.”
“Sleepy Hollow” Season 2 will begin production soon, with a return to Fox likely to come in Fall 2014.
