Jack Bauer’s (Kiefer Sutherland) return to television in “24: Live Another Day” is just a few months away. And another new character has just been added to the cast.
Variety is reporting that John Boyega has been signed to a recurring arc on “24: Live Another Day” as a computer technician who pilots drones for the military. Boyega is best known for playing Moses in the cult British sci-fi film, Attack the Block. Boyega has also appeared in “Law & Order: UK,” My Murder, Half of a Yellow Sun and he was recently cast as legendary athlete Jesse Owens in a biofilm called Race.
Other new cast members coming to “24: Live Another Day” include Yvonne Strahovski, Benjamin Bratt, Stephen Fry and Tate Donovan. “24” veterans Mary Lynn Rajskub, William Devane and Kim Raver will also reprise their roles in the miniseries.
The 12 episode “24: Live Another Day” miniseries will premiere on Fox on Monday, May 5. Filming is expected to begin in London within the next few weeks.
