Canadian country music artist Shania Twain has been announced as the headlining performer at this summer’s installment of the Calgary Stampede.
It will be Twain’s only Canadian show in 2014. An amazing and accomplished singer and songwriter, Twain has sold more than 75 million albums sold worldwide, she is the top-selling female country artist of all time, she has multi-platinum album sales in 32 countries, and she has the eighth-biggest selling album of all time in the U.S. and 18 top 10 songs, eight of which reached #1. She has earned five Grammy Awards, and she received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2011.
She is in the midst of a residency show in Las Vegas called “Shania: Still the One,” which wraps up in February.
Shania Twain will take the Virgin Mobile Stampede Concert Series stage on Wednesday, July 9th. Tickets go on sale Friday, January 24th through Ticketmaster.
