The Series Project: The Stepford Wives (Part 2)

Series Overview:

Which is, as I started with, kind of a cheat. The bad movies are piggybacking on the thoughtful strengths of a cult sci-fi classic without actually thinking. They’re like snails on the tops of race cars, thinking they are speeding on their own power.

The Stepford Wives is not as good as something like, say, Rosemary’s Baby, but it’s still a darn good flick. It’s one of those genre movies that every sci-fi fan should be familiar with. But even the best of movies can evolve quickly into schlock. How many of you, for instance, remember Whatever Happened to Rosemary’s Baby?
