Spoilers ahead for last night’s episode of “The Walking Dead!”
After Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and the remaining survivors at the prison narrowly made it through an outbreak at the prison, a familiar face popped up outside the gates.
The Governor (David Morrissey) is back. And if the recent misfortunes at the prison are any indication, then perhaps the Governor has been making trouble for the last few episodes.
This week’s preview scene flashes back to the third season finale of “The Walking Dead,” just after the Governor massacred his own people for refusing his orders to return to the prison and attack Rick’s group again. Only Shupert (Travis Love) and Martinez (Jose Pablo Cantillo) stood with the Governor after that moment.
However, the murders appear to have taken a psychological toll on the Governor as he barely flinches when a new threat approaches.
“The Walking Dead” Season 4 continues this Sunday on AMC!
