We’ve been waiting for some comic crossover meetings within Joss Whedon’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. — and while it’s not Black Panther or Captain Britain, it is someone who’s built up a fairly large fan base in recent years.
In the Marvel comics, Victoria Hand rose from a lowly agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. to become deputy director of H.A.M.M.E.R. and eventually liaison to The Avengers. Starting with next week’s episode, Saffron Burrows will portray Hand, according to Crave’s SuperHeroHype.com.
Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
