University Students Toss Colossal Amounts Of Toilet Paper On Court

No one seems to know exactly how or why it started, but students sneaking toilet paper into basketball games at John Brown University nearly 30 years ago has snowballed into one of college basketball's greatest traditions.

Each year, upon the team scoring their first basket of the season, nearly every single fan in the stands tosses out a roll of toilet paper onto the court in celebration. The result is an adolescent prankster's dream.

Take a look from this year's celebration from the NAIA Siloam Springs, Ark. school.

According to the story on Yahoo, things can get pretty intense if the team takes more than a couple possessions to score the first bucket of the season. Good thing the rowdy crowd of more than 2,000 didn't have to wait long this year.

Upon the cleanup, John Brown is charged with a technical foul, but fans, players, coaches and administrators believe it is a small price to pay and is well worth it.

And oh ya, all the TP is recycled following the gigantic display.
