Fresh off confirmation of a link between the events of Thor: The Dark World and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. comes a new rumor: the TV series will also tie into the events of Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
Crave’s /Film reported the scuttlebutt Monday as part of continuing coverage of Marvel’s latest Phase Two film. Cap comes out April 4, 2014, which may be in time for the end of the first season for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
We’ll just have to see if Joss Whedon’s series is the connective ligament for Marvel’s properties it was meant to be.
