Everybody is anticipating a return to the Breaking Bad universe with the spinoff Better Call Saul. Well, apparently no one’s more intrigued than creator Vince Gilligan — so he’s taking steps to make sure Saul feels like an extension of his signature show.
Gilligan told Crave’s /Film that the show centered around Bob Odenkirk’s lawyer Saul Goodman will skew toward a more comedic mix of drama, but will have a lot of the universe we all recognize.
Let’s shoot it in Albuquerque, let’s get as much of the crew back together as possible, and let’s do it the way we did it before so that it will be of a piece with that pre-existing fictional universe that we had so much fun creating.
Even better? Gilligan says Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul may very well make guest appearances on the show. No word yet on how soon we could be seeing Better Call Saul.
