NYCC 2013 VIDEO: Greg Pak of ‘Action Comics,’ ‘Batman/Superman’

Greg Pak is one of the biggest names in comics right now. After wrapping up a massive, highly impactful run on The Incredible Hulk, he’s now taking on the Man of Steel and the Dark Knight alongside superstar artist Jae Lee in Batman/Superman, and he’s also just starting his run on Action Comics, the flagship Superman book in which he first appeared 75 years ago.

Our man Iann Robinson sat down with Pak at New York Comic-Con 2013 for a Crave Online exclusive interview about how he got into this position, and the highs and lows of writing a character with such incredible power. Check it out!

Therefore, he will also defend Ang Lee's Hulk, although he understands why you don't like it and won't hold that against you.

As far as reviews go, he believes the main point of being a critic is not to pass yourself off as the final arbiter of quality passing holy judgment on a work of art, but rather just to share opinions so that the reader can decide whether or not the critic is someone whose tastes generally align with theirs. If so, that reviewer is one whose work you can trust if you're curious about a particular title. If not, cue loud, angry internet vitriol.
