Apparently, it’s too confusing for NFL fans and broadcast announcers to understand the referees are calling a penalty with a pink flag instead of a yellow one.
Crave’s NESN website reported Monday the NFL officials will immediately stop using the pink flags, pulled out for breast cancer awareness month, because they are too confusing on TV broadcasts because players are also wearing pink for October.
Michael Signora, spokesperson for the NFL, announced the change Monday in an email. Were you confused as you watched games this week?
